We had a really hard workout on Wednesday… called The Five Lanes of Death.
The way it worked was that there were five lanes, (obviously) and each one was a different set, all 8-12 laps, and of course, all sprint.
Lane one was eight 25′s butterfly
Lane 2 was four 50′s fly to back
Lane 3 was three 75′s fly back breast
Lane 4 was two 100 IM’s
Lane 5 was a 300 free, and in my opinion the best lane. I started in Lane 4, and we were going backwards, so I did the freestyle last, which, I guess, was sort of good because freestyle is the easiest stroke for me.
We also had a great (easy) kicking set. Just 10 laps free to breast. That was nice.
